Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend today’s Good Friday service, I’m still battling a fever of 104. But even in this stillness, I feel God’s presence so deeply.

Good Friday is the day we remember the ultimate sacrifice. The day Jesus gave His life for us willingly, lovingly, painfully. It’s not just a story. It’s the reason we have grace. It’s the reason we have hope. And it’s the foundation of my faith.

Each year, Easter means more to me. My journey with God has been a wild, beautiful, healing ride these past few years. And through it all, one thing has never changed, He has never left my side. Not once.

I know with full confidence… no one will ever take care of me the way He does. No one will ever love me so fully, so unconditionally. That truth is my peace, even in the middle of sickness all by myself, even through life’s hardest seasons.

If you’re going through something right now, I just want to remind you… You’re not alone. He’s right there with you too.

The closer a woman gets to God, the more she gets tested.

Not in quiet ways, but through storms that shake her peace, test her patience, and try to drag her back into a version of herself she buried long ago.

Every step forward toward purpose?
The enemy starts whispering lies.
“You’re not ready.”
“You’re not who you say you are.”
“You can’t handle this.”

But those whispers don’t win.

Because these tests aren’t here to break her.
They’re here to build her.
To refine her spirit.
To deepen her faith.
To remind her that God sees it all even when others twist the story.

There’s no need to defend what God has already covered.
There’s no need to explain the path He’s already cleared.

So she stays rooted.
She prays without ceasing.
She walks with authority.

Because no matter how loud the chaos gets…
God’s voice will always be louder.

Sometimes the biggest battles are the quietest ones.

For most of my life, surrendering to God felt impossible.

I’ve always been the fighter. The fixer. The one who carried it all.
Control felt safer than trust.
Planning felt easier than praying.
Doing felt louder than being still.

But this new season I’m walking through…
It’s been different.

It’s been quiet.
It’s been intentional.
It’s been filled with support, grace, and divine alignment.

I’ve been learning to ask for answers instead of chasing them.
I’ve been learning to walk in light, even when the path ahead isn’t clear.
I’ve been learning that surrender doesn’t mean weakness, it means obedience, trust, and peace.

Everything I’ve walked through has led me closer to understanding that it’s not about what I want… it’s about what He wants for me.

And if you’re in a season where surrender feels scary, just know this…
You don’t have to do it perfectly.
You just have to be willing to try.

His plans are better than mine.
His timing is sovereign.
His light is where I choose to walk now.

And I’m so thankful I don’t have to do it alone. 🙏🏼

It’s not just shaped by workouts…
it’s shaped by consistency, prayer, discipline, and a deep knowing that I’m becoming HER.

One of the hardest lessons in life is realizing that you cannot control others. Their actions, their choices, or their growth. Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations that are beyond our control, holding onto hope that things will change, that someone will wake up and treat us the way we deserve. But the truth is, the only thing you can control is yourself, your standards, your self-worth, and your decision to stay or walk away.

Too many women remain in situations that no longer serve them, out of fear, out of obligation, out of the belief that maybe, just maybe, things will get better.

But what if they don’t?
What if this is exactly what it will always be? Would you still choose to stay?

You set the standard for how you will be treated. You decide what you allow. And if you have children watching, they are learning from you. They will mirror what you accept.

So, ask yourself, Is this the example I want to set?

God’s plan for you is not to live in a space of uncertainty, waiting for someone else to change. His plan is for you to know your worth, to rise in your power, and to align with the purpose He has for you.

Start working on yourself. Start seeking clarity in His plan. Start realizing that the way you allow yourself to be treated is a direct reflection of what you believe you deserve.

Raise your standards. Honor your worth. And trust that when you do, the right people, opportunities, and blessings will follow.

Every January, people get fired up, set big goals, like health and wellness or to get their 💩 together and say “This is my year!”

By now, February? Most of those goals are already forgotten.

I just had several conversations regarding this.

I see it every single year.

🔴 Women setting a financial goal… but not shifting their relationship with money.
🟣 Women promising to put themselves first… but still putting everyone else ahead of them.
🟠 Women saying they’re going to finally take action… but falling right back into old habits.

It’s NOT because they aren’t capable. It’s because they’re relying on motivation instead of mindset.

I hate to say it but I used to think that I can flip the script and instantly things would change, but that’s why you hear the saying, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Sadly, most people think this is true.
